Description of a free-standing safe CHARVÁT NS, III. grade
The proven and for more than 30 years innovated series of safes. The traditional design has changed very little and therefore even today no one from the outside can tell what security class it is. This is also a detail that has its justification.
CONSTRUCTION
— The triple-walled construction of the safe is made of a combination of high-quality 3 and 1.5 mm thick profiled steel plates. The unique composition of materials in the intermediate walls guarantees maximum resistance to the use of various tools.
— Thanks to the sandwich composition, our safe is equal to competing safes whose intermediate walls are filled with concrete. At the same time, our safe decreases the costs not only for transportation but also for subsequent handling (moving).
— The random positioning of the connection points also increases the time required to overcome.
— As standard, a single anchor hole (14 mm diameter) in the floor secures the safe against tipping and prevents easy theft.
— Additional anchor holes can be added in the Configurator.
— The design of the anchoring grommet guarantees a minimum of 5 tons of pull-out strength.
DOOR
— The triple-walled doors are fitted with a certified lock as per the customer’s preference, at least in class B (according to the European standard EN 1300).
— When locked, the door is secured by five 25 mm diameter deep chrome-plated steel pins locking in three directions. These are fixed in such a way that they can rotate on their axis so that they are free to rotate when in contact with the cutting tool. On the hinge side, the door is secured by two passive metal protrusions which fit into holes in the inner shell. Thus, even cutting the hinges does not lead to the door being opened.
— The door is sealed to the body via a foam seal that softly dampens the sound of the door closing.
— The outer hinges allow the safe door to be opened up to an angle of 200 degrees.
— If necessary, the opened door can be removed to reduce the weight of the safe, e.g. when moving.
LOCKS
— The base primary certified key lock in class B with two original keys can be supplemented or replaced with biometric fingerprint lock, mechanical combination lock or electronic combination locks. The electronic ones can have advanced features such as time delay, the ability to set up a four-eye system (two codes must be entered to unlock the lock). The batteries are hidden in the keypad on the outside of the door for easy replacement.
— The deep-seated lock is locked by a three-way release mechanism operated by an ergonomic metal alloy handle.
— The release mechanism is equipped with a safety device in case the lock is attacked by bouncing.
— A thick hardened plate also protects the lock against attack through the outer shell.
— Other sophisticated mechanisms of the safe provide protection against attack of the lock directly on the opening mechanism.
— The opening mechanism is also equipped with a safety lock against brute force attack on the handle.
EQUIPMENT
— The height-adjustable shelves made of 1.5 mm thick steel plate in the colour of the safe can be arranged according to the hook holes with a spacing of 35 mm. Shelf load capacity is 50 kg.
— Extra shelves can be added to the safe in the Configurator.
— On the inside of the door there is a manufacturing label with product identification.
— The inner compartment with slatted lock can be added as an optional safe modification in the Configurator.
— Magnetic hooks can be added as an add-on in the Configurator.
COLOUR
The safe can be painted in 4 basic colours with a textured finish:
— anthracite (RAL 7016),
— grey-white (RAL 7035),
— white (RAL 9003),
— black (RAL 9005).
CERTIFICATION
— Certified safe in grade III. (according to the European standard ČSN EN 1143-1+A1) provides protection of valuables, documents classified as “secret” and other items that should be protected against easy theft.
— The certification of the safe also provides superior coverage of the requirements for the safe storage of up to 20 weapons or 20,000 rounds of ammunition in accordance with Czech Government Regulation No. 217 of 10 July 2017 on requirements for the security of weapons, ammunition, black powder, smokeless powder and primers and on ammunition storage.
